I am finally done with my first week. So far I had given 5 lectures for 3 different sections of Organization of Data class. I had a chance to prepare a grant proposal for MHI Startup Grant (hopefully we will submit it before the deadline next Friday). I met with so many bright students who are willing to learn new skills. I am getting better at Canvas and online learning. I am learning more about the abilities of Oracle Application Express so I can teach my students.

So far Oracle Application Express worked out great for teaching Organization of Data class. If you are interested to teach this class, I can highly suggest that. There are so many great tutorials about Oracle Application Express. These students are learning more about the Oracle Application Express. I am very fortunate that we have great IT people at Abington who helped me to setup Oracle Database Server and Oracle Application Express. I would like to specially thank Taghi Ozbeki (txo8@psu.edu) for his support during this first time setup process.

Another good news is that I am invited to Penn State Berks to speak to IST students there. I would like to thank Abdullah Konak (auk3@psu.edu) for his kind invitation. We will schedule a time and date in a couple of weeks.
